The Institute of Molecular Science (ICMol) at the University of Valencia hosted today the opening day of the first edition of the Early Career Symposium on Advanced Molecular Materials (ECSAMM). The event, held in the auditorium of the Cabecera building at the Parc Científic, brought together master’s students, PhD candidates, and postdoctoral researchers from the institute to share their latest scientific advances.
Designed as a platform to promote internal collaboration and enhance the visibility of ongoing research, ECSAMM is a student-led initiative that highlights the dynamism and talent of early-career scientists at ICMol.
Today’s program featured a series of short talks and the first of two poster sessions, showcasing the diversity of research across the institute’s key areas:
- Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs)
- 2D Materials
- Molecular Spin Science and Technology
- Materials and Processes for Electronics
- Molecular Biomaterials
- Materials for Energy Applications
- Sustainability and Environment
The event concluded with an engaging coffee break and poster exhibition, creating a relaxed and interactive space for networking and scientific exchange.
The symposium will continue tomorrow with more talks, a second poster session, and further opportunities for participants to connect, share ideas, and build future collaborations.
