On Friday, September 26, the Jardines de Viveros in Valencia turned into a large open-air laboratory for the European Researchers’ Night 2025, one of the most prominent science outreach events in Europe. Under the motto “Valencian science takes to the streets”, the event brought together universities, research centers, and foundations with the aim of engaging the public with science and inspiring scientific vocations among young people.
The day featured 30 interactive workshops designed for students, families, and the general public, who enjoyed hands-on activities and live demonstrations in a festive and educational atmosphere.
The Institute of Molecular Science (ICMol), a research center of the University of Valencia, contributed to this edition with several experimental workshops that captured the attention of the attendees:
Rainbow of red cabbage (at CaixaForum Valencia).
Slime.
The power of the invisible.
Non-Newtonian fluid.
Through this participation, ICMol reaffirms its commitment to science outreach and the promotion of scientific culture in society, sharing in an engaging and dynamic way the work carried out by its researchers in the field of molecular science.
